Tracey Carruthers

Always one to enjoy activity, it wasn't until having a stroke that Tracey realized she needed to set goals and achieve them. She was spurred on to train for and complete her first half marathon in 1999. Since then she has participated in several more races, moved on to triathlons, and most recently, bodybuilding. Tracey competed in the 2010 Northern Alberta bodybuilding competition held in Red Deer and placed 2nd in both lightweight and master's categories. Two weeks later she competed in the 2010 Provincials and placed 5th in lightweight.

In 2009, Tracey became a nutrition specialist for her own education and interest in learning how to fuel her body. She found she had a knack for sharing her love of food and proper nutrition with others. Tracey brings a thoughtful and caring approach to her nutrition clients ensuring a customized program for each person. She firmly believes that the more people learn about what they are putting in their bodies, the better choices they will make. In 2010, Tracey became a certified personal trainer. She brings a passion for active living to Absolute Wellness. Her firm belief in having balance in life comes thru in her nutrition and training philosophy. Her desire is to inspire and help individuals achieve or maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Jordan played 4 seasons with the Edmonton Wildcats junior football team, playing in 3 conference championships as well as a national championship. Currently completing a Physical Activity and Sports Performance degree at the University of Alberta, Jordan has worked professionally in the fitness industry since 2008.
